I built this hand planing board this week from a spare THULE display shelf we had at our shop. I discovered several of these shelves just gathering dust in our storage shed and immediately thought "hmmmmm..." I'll be making a few more in different shapes.

Nice one ! I like the fish tail.
Have you tried this kind of handboard with a hole to hold it instead of a handle or a hand-strap ?
Does water flow in the hole while surfing ? Is it hydro dynamically effective ?
Does it have a concave or something like that ?
That's a lot of questions :D
